{About Sara}

I've lived in Ohio all of my life and I absolutely love it here. I grew up in Cincinnati and then moved to Columbus to be a music major at Otterbein College. After graduating, I began teaching private music lessons and I've been doing it ever since.

I met my awesome hubby in College and we got married in 2009. In May of 2011, we welcomed our baby girl, Lucy, and we fell head over heels in love.

I have always loved photography and finally decided to pursue it as more than just a hobby after my daughter was born. She made me realize how important it really is to capture and preserve special moments (not only the big ones, but also the small) as they come. I love being able to do this for my own family, and I love being able to also do this for others. My desire is to capture your story and your essence through a fun and creative session so that you will end up with photos that you will love and cherish for the years to come.

Some other things I enjoy: music (especially a spontaneous jam session with friends), crafting (I have a bright yellow craft room at home- it is one of my favorite spots in our house), anything having to do with cupcakes, traveling (as often as I can!), reading (I'm a sucker for a good memoir), roller coasters (I'm a thrill junkie at heart), hiking (we share 43 acres of land with friends in Coshocton, OH), and spending time with family and friends as much as possible!
